MATANEWSTV com | Tebing Tinggi – Nasib sial menimpa HS alias Hendra (21), seorang pengangguran asal Kabupaten Langkat. Niatnya untuk bersenang-senang dengan teman dengan menggadaikan sepeda motor pinjaman berujung pilu. Hendra diringkus polisi setelah aksinya terbongkar.
Kejadian bermula pada Sabtu (6/4/24) di Desa Sipispis, Kecamatan Sipispis, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Hendra mendatangi Juliani, seorang ibu rumah tangga, dengan modus meminjam sepeda motor Honda Supra 125 miliknya. Kepada Juliani, Hendra berbohong dengan dalih ingin pergi ke bank BRI untuk mentransfer uang.
Tanpa curiga, Juliani pun meminjamkan sepeda motornya. Namun, setelah ditunggu lama, Hendra tak kunjung kembali. Nomor handphone-nya pun sudah tidak aktif. Sadar ditipu, Juliani melaporkan kejadian tersebut ke Polsek Sipispis Polres Tebing Tinggi.
Bersama suami Juliani, petugas Polsek Sipispis bergerak cepat melacak keberadaan Hendra. Jejak Hendra mengarah ke daerah Padang Tualang, Kabupaten Langkat. Tanpa perlawanan, Hendra diringkus dan digelandang ke Polsek Sipispis untuk pemeriksaan lebih lanjut.
Kepada polisi, Hendra mengaku telah menggadaikan sepeda motor tersebut kepada seseorang senilai Rp 2 juta. Uang hasil gadai dipakai Hendra untuk berfoya-foya dengan teman-temannya.
“Hendra telah ditahan di Polsek Sipispis dan dijerat pasal penggelapan,” ungkap Kasi Humas Polres Tebing Tinggi, Akp Agus Arianto.
Kasus ini menjadi pelajaran bagi kita semua untuk selalu berhati-hati dalam meminjamkan barang kepada orang lain. Pastikan untuk mengenal baik orang yang meminjam dan selalu minta jaminan agar terhindar dari kejadian serupa. *(Nain)**
